Cannoli Rush is the result of one family’s history as pastry chef’s and budding technologists.
It’s not often you get the chance to sink your teeth into a good, custard filled cannoli, if you can find one. When you do, I bet it involves an inconvenient drive. Cannoli Rush offers Sydney’s best tasting cannoli delivered right to your house or workplace and with over 50 years experience, there’s no doubt the recipe has been refined to perfection.
The ‘cannoli’ – a traditional Sicilian dessert – has well and truly infiltrated modern Australian society. So much so that when Sydney’s first dedicated cannoli delivery and catering service, Cannoli Rush, launched just in time for Father’s Day in 2020, the small family-run business co-founded by brothers Matt and Jordan Marchetta could barely keep up with the stampede of orders.
We had to enlist help from family and friends to respond to customers and pack the orders. We paid them in cannoli, of course.
Cannoli are made from fried pastry shells and traditionally filled with sweetened ricotta, vanilla custard or chocolate custard. We extended this to include up to 12 flavours.
